Malachi 3:10 says, "Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need."

At TCF, we believe that we are to bring the full tithe into the one place where you have community and where you are being fed the Word of God.  If TCF is the place that you call home and where you have community, then this is the place that you should bring your tithe.  If there is any hesitation that we won't honor the Lord with your tithe, then our prayer is that you will find the local body where you feel peace in your spirit to return your tithe to the Lord.  

We also believe that returning your tithe and giving is YOUR decision.  If you feel manipulated in any way, then please don't give.  At the same time, we also believe that God's promise won't follow you if you don't return your tithe.  This is the ONLY place in Scripture where the Lord says to test Him in the PRINCIPLE of tithing.  

We also believe, according to Scripture, that God will open up the windows of heaven.  We believe that this is not just a financial promise, but because it's a covenant, we believe that the open window of heaven may be more hope in your life, more peace in your spirit, healing to your body, mind and soul and the deliverance that you may need in whatever season you find yourself in this moment. 

We believe, according to Malachi 3:11, that the Lord will guard He gives.  Verse 11 says, "I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of your soil, and your vine in the field shall not fail to bear, says the Lord of hosts."
